Natixis banker joins board of European bank lobby

Appointment of Luc François marks the first time in eight years that Afme has added a board member

The Association for Financial Markets in Europe, a group that lobbies European regulators on behalf of the banking industry, has added a new board member from the French bank Natixis.

Luc François, who runs investment banking for Natixis in Paris, was approved at a meeting in Brussels on March 20. There are now four French banks represented on Afme’s board.
