Recovery signals for listed buyout stocks

Signs of recovery in the listed private equity sector emerged today, with the former Lehman Brothers private equity arm posting strong results and two other funds providing positive updates.

NB Private Equity Partners, formerly the listed private equity fund of funds of US bank Lehman Brothers, posted 15.4% gains in the value of its portfolio during 2009 to $9.46 (€6.92) per share, according its annual report published today, which an analyst said was "a very good year" for the company.
