Two of the most senior trading professionals at Standard Chartered are set to leave the emerging markets-focused bank as it embarks on a fresh round of cost-cutting that is expected to target employees in senior roles.

Neh Thaker, Standard Chartered’s global c0-head of foreign exchange, rates and credit, is due to depart next week, according to people with knowledge of the move. Chris Allington, who leads its financial markets business for Europe and the Americas will also leave next month.
