In February 2021, former UK star fund manager Neil Woodford stunned his critics with an audacious comeback announcement — a move that also angered the hundreds of thousands of retail investors still trapped in his former flagship fund.

Now, 18 months on, those plans look in doubt with Woodford's new venture, WCM Partners losing a string of key personnel amid uncertainty about its UK operation.
