Neil Woodford posts healthy profits despite performance woes

Renowned stock-picker has seen assets in his flagship equity fund halve since a May 2017 peak

The asset management business set up by renowned UK fund manager Neil Woodford recorded profits of almost £42m during the last tax year, despite a difficult period for the firm’s flagship equity fund which has seen assets halve since its peak.

According to accounts filed with Companies House, pre-tax profits at Woodford Investment Management totalled £41.7m in the year to the end of March 2018, with revenues of £78m.
