Funds of funds specialist John Husselbee has led a management buyout of North Investment Partners, the multi-manager subsidiary of boutique Neptune Investment Management, in a bid to attract more third party business.

Husselbee was head of multi-manager at Henderson Global Investors before establishing North Investment in 2005. He now owns the business alongside colleagues Rebecca Murphy and Oliver Wallin who worked alongside him at Henderson before moving with him to North Investment.
