The Dutch government could this year launch the second initial public offering of an airport operator, after the country's parliament yesterday approved the privatisation of Amsterdam's Schiphol airport.

The decision comes less than three weeks after the French government completed the €1.1bn ($1.4bn) flotation of Paris airport operator Aéroports de Paris, one of the few European flotations to be completed in the last month.
