Neuberger Berman, the $304bn US asset manager, has lifted a six-strong team of European bond managers from BNP Paribas’ asset management division.

The team is led by Patrick Barbe, who as chief investment officer for euro sovereign and aggregate fixed-income was responsible for overseeing around €49bn in funds at BNP Paribas.
