Investors in initial public offerings on the Neuer Markt this year have seen a loss on their investment of over 17% but the IPOs have performed better than the wider market, according to analysis by Financial News.
The average post-issue performance of the 10 IPOs on the Neuer Markt in the first half of this year was -17.6% between the date of issue and the end of July. However, when the performance of IPOs is benchmarked against the Neuer Markt all-share index, investors have seen a far better return on new issues.
