Update.com, the Austrian software producer that is in danger of being thrown off the Neuer Markt, is looking for another exchange to list on as dozens of companies prepare for life after the Neuer Markt.
Like other companies, Update.com has also sharply criticised the handling of the crisis on the Neuer Markt. Marcus Muehlberger, chief financial officer of Update.com, said: "We see the Neuer Markt in problems, so to speak, and not supporting the companies listed there, and so we have to think of other stock exchanges." The company has looked at the Wiener Börse in Austria, Nasdaq Europe, the SDax segment in Germany, and the SWX New Market in Switzerland.
