A former executive from British Land has launched a fund targeting property in UK regional cities, arguing that reports of the death of the high street have been exaggerated.

Ben Young, founder of George Capital, said the outlook for city-centre property is “much more nuanced” than pessimistic reports about the retail sector suggest.
