Richard Boath has left Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) for Barclays Capital, to head its new primary capital markets group.

Boath will integrate three pillars of the existing Barclays Capital capital markets platform. He will assume responsibility for the debt capital markets (DCM) group run by Abigail Hofman, the securitisation team headed by Allen Appen and the transaction management team run by Hanne Marrott-Poulsen.
