Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, the information technology and management consultancy, has developed an e-commerce solution for low-cost financial services products such as stakeholder pensions.

The consultancy claims the new solution will help financial services companies, such as fund managers, insurance houses and independent financial advisers (IFAs) operate in markets in which legislation limits the amount policyholders can be charged for pension administration.
