Old Mutual Asset Managers has appointed Richard Moore as head of its £50m (€79m) UK growth fund.

Moore, 42, is joining Old Mutual from Singer & Friedlander Investment Management of the UK, where he ran UK equity funds. For 10 years before that he ran the UK equity pension fund at National Mutual Life.
