The UK government’s proposed post-Brexit immigration system could have a pronounced impact on women working in support roles for financial services firms, immigration experts have warned.

The system, which was given initial approval by MPs on 18 May, would pave the way for the introduction of a points-based immigration system, expected to be awarded for speaking fluent English, having a job offer and commanding a salary of at least £25,600.
