New intelligent software aims to exploit held data

Compliance and profitability are in line for a boost

The data that both exchanges and banks hold is a valuable asset they are now seriously looking to exploit by using new technologies and artificial intelligence to improve compliance and customer profitability.

One company, Searchspace, believes that with the huge volume of electronic transactions being processed daily, there is a need for a new breed of intelligent software capable of making decisions and acting automatically. The system, Intelligent Enterprise Framework (IEF), assesses every transaction and then draws together information held across all the legacy systems within a bank or exchange to build a single picture of each customer.
