New Lehman investment banking head underlines M&A growth

Lehman Brothers has appointed Hugh "Skip" McGee as global head of investment banking, in a move which underlines the growth in importance of its mergers and acquisitions business.

McGee takes over from Bradley Jack, who was promoted to co-chief operating officer of the bank in May alongside Joseph Gregory. Since May, Jack has continued to oversee the global investment banking business.
