Vincent Keaveny, a capital markets partner at law firm DLA Piper, became the 693rd Lord Mayor of London when he was sworn in on 12 November.

As with each of his predecessors, he has just a year term in which to make his mark as an ambassador for the UK’s financial, professional and technology sectors.
