FundXchange is piloting an independent electronic exchange and execution facility for the offshore mutual fund industry.

The platform is on trial by two unnamed banks and should be available to the wider offshore community in the first quarter of 2001, said Rupert Vaughan Williams, chief executive at FundXchange in London. It will enable the offshore market to match the speed and efficiency with which domestic markets are increasingly executing business.
