New pensions infrastructure fund could top £4 billion

Tie-up between London, Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside and West Yorkshire also wants further pension funds to join

The UK's newest-minted pensions infrastructure partnership, which today expanded to take in the council funds for Lancashire, Merseyside and West Yorkshire, could grow to top £4 billion in the years ahead.

The funds confirmed on December 15 that, as expected, the venture originally founded by the pension funds for London and Greater Manchester will expand to take in the three new joiners.
