New platform from Caplin to boost financial information on web

Caplin Systems, the real-time web technology provider, has released Caplin Liberator, a new market data platform built upon its widely adopted Real Time Text Protocol (RTTP), in an effort to attract sensitive financial information on to the web.

The new web-delivered platform is designed to cut the costs of market data distribution by allowing for multiple data priorities for each user and management of bandwidth on a per-user basis. Some of the clients that Caplin has signed up to use the new distribution platform include Nasdaq, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, UBS Warburg and Dow Jones Newswires.
