New Venture beats target with $275m

New Venture Partners, a venture capital firm owned by secondaries private equity buyer Coller Capital, has seen its fourth fund oversubscribed with commitments of $275m (€217m) on a $200m original target.

The firm said it was the first time it had achieved a broad range of institutional investors, with commitments from US and European pension funds, funds of funds, endowments, financial services groups and family offices.
