A raft of senior executives at some of the European private equity industry’s best known firms are moving to pastures new as 2014 begins.

Alfredo Zamarriego, a former managing director in CVC's infrastructure team who left the firm last month, has surfaced at Canadian asset manager Brookfield Asset Management, according to public filings. Last year CVC dropped its plans to raise a €2 billion infrastructure fund and opted to move to deal-by-deal financing. The team now has four infrastructure professionals in London.
