New York Portfolio Clearing hires chief executive

New York Portfolio Clearing, a joint venture of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation and NYSE Euronext, has appointed Alexander Broderick as chief executive. Broderick will be based in New York. He was most recently head of GBP derivatives and bond trading at Societe Generale in London. He has been with the French bank for 14 years. He also worked on developing the LCH.Clearnet SwapClear system and traded swaps and options at Bank of America.
