news in brief: AIM firms' management more dynamic

Chief executives and finance directors in AIM-listed companies are more dynamic than their counterparts in companies that are fully listed on the London Stock Exchange, according to survey results from remuneration consultants Top Pay Research Group.

Management in AIM companies have a higher proportion of graduates and executives are likely to have additional experience in other industries. Their pay is more performance-related than at larger companies. AIM firms offer lower basis salaries but more flexible cash bonuses.
