News in brief: Artemis receives rating boost from S&P

Two of Artemis Investment Management's funds have received an AA rating from Standard & Poor's.

The Artemis smaller companies and growth funds were both launched in April 1998. Their outperformance has been due to superior stock and sector selection, as well as a timely move from growth to value stocks, according to the international ratings agency. The growth fund is managed by Mark Tyndall and the smaller companies fund is managed by John Dodd and Derek Stuart.
