Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) has promoted Frank López to head investment banking and the emerging markets coverage group for Latin America.

He will be based in New York and report to Adebayo Ogunlesi, global head of investment banking at CSFB. López will be responsible for marketing to LatAm clients and multinationals with an interest in the region, working with the emerging markets group and industry and product groups in investment banking, on the delivery of advisory, financing, structuring and risk management. López has been at CSFB since 1986. Most recently he led business in the Andean, Central America and Caribbean regions, integrating investment banking, foreign exchange and emerging markets products.
