Exeter Fund Managers is making a drive into the UK's institutional fund management marketplace by promoting Kevin Long as an associate director responsible for institutional sales.

Exeter has recently established links with providers of life assurance and pension products. Long joined the firm in 1996. He was Exeter's area sales manager for London and the South East of England the firm is looking for a replacement. Exeter has £1bn (€1.6bn) under management.
