Tokyo-Mitsubishi Securities, the Tokyo-based investment banking arm of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, has appointed Juntaro Fujii as president.
Until last May, Fujii was chief executive officer of Tokyo-Mitsubishi International in London. He then moved to Tokyo as global head for Tokyo-Mitsubishi Securities capital markets, which includes new issues marketing and syndication, structured finance, and debt and equity capital markets. Fujii will retain these responsibilities in his new role and report into the investment banking business unit of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi group. He replaces Kazuya Okamoto, who becomes the chairman of Tokyo-Mitsubishi Securities.
