Kohlberg Kravis Roberts has appointed former United Business Media chief executive Lord Hollick as a managing director, saying it wants to build a presence in the UK media sector. Hollick joins in April after 30 years with UBM. He was at Hambros Bank from 1967 to 1974 as a director in the corporate finance unit and has been a business adviser to the UK Labour Party.
