Landwell, the law firm associated with accounting group PricewaterhouseCoopers, has hired a former Herbert Smith partner to its mergers and acquisitions group.

Mark Satterly will join Landwell on December 3, and will work closely with the financial services department. Companies he has worked with include Bradford & Bingley of the UK and Swiss Re. He has particular experience in M&A, joint ventures, listings, privatisations and public/private partnership work.
