Mellon Financial Corporation is promoting Jon Little, chief executive of Mellon Global Investments and Helena Morrissey, chief executive of Newton Investment Management, to co-chairs of Mellon Europe. The moves pre-empt the return of Jack Klinck, who has served as Mellon Europe chairman since autumn 2001, to the US this July. Little and Morrisey will retain their existing roles.
