NatWest Development Capital, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland's private equity group, has opened two new offices in Birmingham and Manchester, and hired Andy Gregory to head up the Manchester team.
The firm now has six regional offices in the UK. Gregory has previously worked for Arthur Anderson. Steve Currie will lead the team in Birmingham, transferring from the Nottingham office. David Lambert, managing director of NatWest Development Capital, said: "This forms part of our core strategy to build on our presence in the UK regional market. The backing of the Royal Bank of Scotland and its strength in the corporate market provides an excellent opportunity to develop our focus on private equity transactions up to £20m (€32.2m)."
