Enrico Cervone, formerly assistant central manager at the Bank of Italy, has been appointed to the commission of Consob, the Italian stock exchange regulator.
He replaces Salvatore Bragantini, who resigned in July, and joins Lamberto Cardia, Renato Rordorf and Filippo Cavazzuti. Cervone spent the whole of his career at the Bank of Italy rising to become assistant central manager with responsibilities related to central banking. He has been a member of the management committees of the screen-based markets in government securities and bank deposits.
