Putnam Lovell Securities, the US financial services specialist investment bank, has given Ian Brimecome the additional responsibility of co-head of investment banking.
Brimecome joined Putnam Lovell's London office earlier this year from Merrill Lynch in New York as head of the firm's global insurance practice. He shares his new role with Donald Putnam, previously sole head of investment banking. Putnam Lovell is keen to expand outside of its home market in the US, and Brimecome was appointed to aid that process. He will retain his role as head of global insurance. Putnam Lovell focuses on working with financial institutions, and does mostly mergers and acquisitions advisory work.
