Newton Investment Management, the BNY-owned fund management business, has the biggest gender pay gap among its UK peers, analysis of more than 20 firms by Financial News has found.
According to the £81.3bn division’s 2024-2025 gender pay gap report, women’s median hourly pay was 36% lower than that earned by their male peers. Newton IM’s data shows its gender pay gap has widened over the past year, increasing from 34%.
