Newton Investment Management has hired Spencer Ahluwalia from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Ahluwalia is joining the institutional marketing division as pooled fund account manager. The appointment of Ahluwalia, who worked closely with Paul Haines, a former PwC colleague who is now at Lane, Clark & Peacock, is seen by the industry as a smart hire by Newton.
