Newton names former Aviva funds boss Munro as CEO

Munro, whose departure from Aviva Investors was announced on 4 January, will take up his new post in June

Euan Munro, the former chief executive of Aviva Investors, has been named as the next boss of smaller UK fund management rival Newton Investment Management.

Aviva Investors, the £355bn fund management arm of the UK-listed insurance group, announced on 4 January that Munro was departing as CEO following seven years in the top job. Mark Versey was named as his replacement.
