Daniel Hemmant has left Cazenove Fund Management to join Newton Fund Managers, where he will take the lead management role on the Newton global innovation fund.

At Cazenove, Hemmant was responsible for the US and UK corporate bond funds. A spokesman for Newton said the UK fund was top quartile over the last two years. Hemmant was also responsible for global and currency portfolios.
