NIB Nedcor, the South African bank, has listed a $170m (€137m) fund of hedge funds on the Irish stock exchange to access the retail market.

Simon Mansell, a manager in the bank's wealth management department, said: "Listing the fund will allow individuals in the UK to include it as an investment in their self-invested personal pension plans."
