Noble Group, the independent investment banking group, has acquired research firm Clear Capital for an undisclosed sum, giving the group its first presence in India and expanding beyond its core activities of M&A and equity capital markets.

The group, which was founded in 1980, aims to develop as a research-led investment bank and to be involved in research, broking, investment banking and fund management.
