Nobles, the Edinburgh-based investment bank, has appointed David Potter as a non-executive director.

Potter, who is an executive director for the pan-European executive search firm The Rose Partnership, has a long career in the City of London covering every aspect of merchant and corporate banking at divisional, chief executive, board and chairman level.
