Nomura adds to post-Brexit banking hub in Germany

Japanese bank makes another hire to its team in Frankfurt, which will serve as its European headquarters after Brexit

Nomura has hired an investment-banking dealmaker to bolster its operations in Germany, an increasingly important location for the Japanese bank that will serve as its European Union headquarters after Brexit.

The bank has named Rolf Petermann as a managing director focused on the financial institutions and real estate sectors. He will report to Patrik Zeigherman, head of investment banking for Germany.
