Nomura Asset Management and Baring Asset Management have strengthened their roster of Asian managers with new hires.
Nomura has hired Kingston Lee as a senior portfolio manager for its Chinese equity team. He is joining the firm from the Asian office of ING, the Dutch-owned securities firm, where he was head of Hong Kong and China research. Prior to ING, Kingston was employed by Schroder Investments, where he looked after Asia Pacific ex-Japan mandates for institutional clients.
