The chairman of Nomura’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa has stepped down from the firm, the latest in a series of board level departures at the Japanese bank’s European operation.
Kieran Poynter stepped down as a non-executive director of Nomura Europe, the Japanese bank's main European incorporated subsidiary which also encompasses the Middle East and Africa, on June 12 according to Companies House filings. He also resigned from Nomura International, the bank's London-based broker-dealer unit, on the same day.
