The chairman of Nomura’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa has stepped down from the firm, the latest in a series of board level departures at the Japanese bank’s European operation.

Kieran Poynter stepped down as a non-executive director of Nomura Europe, the Japanese bank's main European incorporated subsidiary which also encompasses the Middle East and Africa, on June 12 according to Companies House filings.
