Nomura gives up on Hyder but could walk away with £32m

Nomura has bowed out of the battle to seize control of Hyder, four months, several bids, and one appeal after the bidding war for the utility company began, but will still walk away with about £32m (€50m).

Its decision clears the way for Western Power Distribution to conclude the deal.
