Nomura hires Deutsche Bank’s Leigh to head up FX and emerging markets trading

The Japanese bank has been building its trading business in Europe

Nomura has poached a senior Deutsche Bank trader to co-head its foreign exchange business from London in the latest senior markets hire at the Japanese bank.

David Leigh has joined as co-head of FX and emerging markets, according to a statement from the bank. He will lead the unit globally alongside Nagaraj Pangal, who is based in Singapore.
