Nomura hires Koenig for European corporate finance

Nomura, the Japanese financial services group, has appointed Robert Koenig as head of technology, telecoms and media and financial sponsors investment banking in Europe. It comes amid a spate of hires aimed at boosting the bank's European corporate finance division.

Koenig joins Nomura after sixteen years at Deutsche Bank, where he led the European telecoms corporate finance team, focusing on account coverage of the incumbent, mobile, alternative carriers and cable operators.
