Nomura International has hired Gayle Turner as head of its medium-term notes (MTN) desk in the fixed income business.

Turner will be tasked with expanding the company's MTN business in Europe and Asia ex-Japan. The bank already has a large MTN business in Japan. Turner will be responsible for all types of Euro MTNs and private placements for a range of issuers.
