Nomura has named a new leader of its team of dealmakers advising on digital infrastructure deals, a major push at the Japanese bank as it aims to gain ground on larger rivals.

Andrei Milekhin has been named global head of digital infrastructure, effective immediately, the bank announced on 26 August. He has been with the bank for six years, focused on technology deals in Europe, having previously worked at UBS.
